Reports have been published in two London newspapers this morning that the British Government intends to introduce legislation which would restrict prosecutions of their soldiers who served in Northern Ireland and which would apply to all conflict participants.

Today a half page advertisement appeared in the Guardian Newspaper, calling out British Prime Minister Theresa May for misleading Parliament at Prime Minister's Questions regarding the investigations into conflict-related deaths in the north.

The families of over 100 people, on both sides of the border in Ireland, murdered by the Ulster Volunteer Force, in collusion with state forces including the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) and the Ulster Defence Regiment (UDR), have welcomed today’s High Court ruling.
