The Joint Committee on Human Rights, a parliamentary committee made up of members of both Houses of Parliament which monitors the compatibility of legislation with the European Convention of Human Rights and the Human Rights Act 1998, published its report on the Inquiries Bill. The Committee voiced a number of specific concerns in relation to the implications for the proposed Inquiry into the murder of Pat Finucane.
