Latest CJI reports on Hydebank Wood Young Offenders Centre and Ash House, Hydebank Wood Prison

This unannounced short follow-up inspection of Hydebank Wood Young Offenders Centre (YOC) and Ash House was undertaken by Criminal Justice Inspection Northern Ireland (CJI), Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Prisons for England and Wales (HMIP), and was supported by staff from the Education and Training Inspectorate for Northern Ireland and the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA). The inspection focused on the progress the YOC had made in implementing the recommendations contained in our last full inspection in 2007.
